Peruvian original Mauser Oberndorf 1909 Mod 98 standard and screw spacing and intermediate bolt receiver (EB – R599)

Description

German made Mauser 98 standard length receiver with intermediate bolt. Manufactured by Mauser Oberndorf before WW1 for Peru. Model 1909. Highly priced for custom gun makers for intermediate cartridges light7x57, 8×57, and shorter ones like .257 Roberts and .308 Win. Crest is partially visible, manufacturers mark on left receiver wall is visible. Some rust pits underneath the wood line, but internal raceways in very good condition.
